What a Relief - David Silva's cheekbone not smashed to pieces after all
|
Sorry if already done but after the 6 or 7 minute delay, oxygen and 7 or 8 medics, I thought he was a goner.
You gotta laugh except that this nonsense playacting and foreigner player's influence is making the game non-contact. Shame as that was what made the game so enjoyable to play in as well as watch.

Fucking brave that Silva, not even playing with any protection.
Niall Quinn must be bowled over.

Niall Quinn is a no nothing cunt.
Do Sky have to balance every good analyser with a bad one, I.e. Quinn to compensate for Neville? What does he offer?

There really some soft cunts on this site these days. Can't believe people take a pop at a West Ham fan who's taking the piss out of a poncey City player who can't handle an accidental tap. I mean, it wasn't as if the geezer was knocked out.
I really don't know how some of these tarts would have managed in the 60's and 70's. I reckon a lot of them would have taken up netball.

It wasn't meant to injure but Kouyate knew what he was doing.

Niall Quinn was certain it was intentional and Sky pundits went along with it. Even had a headline on my Sky sports mobile site that it was too. What were they looking at? as even MOTD were sure it was accidental. Good impartial comments NOT. Putting my non west ham head on I think it was an accident too.

Didn't realize it was a yellow until reading this. That's a facking load of shit. The incident was not nearly as bad as Silva would have everyone believe. the fact there was no fracture pretty much confirms he went to the hospital over a bruise. I'll go out on a limb and guess they don't finds signs of a concussion either.

Should never have even been a yellow tall bloke going past a short bloke trying to avoid him and just brought his arm down before he was full past him
Accident!

He's not saying anything about the reporting he's having an idiotic pop at Silva because he's a foreigner.
Ridiculous thread, Silva was clearly in need of attention.

It was a nasty thing to happen to Silva, even if I think it was accidental.
I think the oxygen is to make it easier for people in shock to breathe - they do use oxygen to speed up healing, but that's over several sessions of a few hours

Kouyate was protecting the ball and Silva ran into his elbow Ludicrous booking based purely on the players involved

Pretty sure Sir Alf's post was a little tongue in cheek regarding the over the top reporting of the incident, it wasn't elbow to face like those idiots Hoddle and Quinn would have you believe

I could be wrong but I think giving oxygen to an injured player helps to speed up the healing process, I don't think they do it because the person is unable to breathe
